Canadian singer-songwriter Alyssa Reid was born on March 15, 1993, in Edmonton,
Alberta. A precocious talent, she wrote her first song at the age of 7 and
started taking vocal lessons two years later. Thanks to a viral parody of Justin
Bieber's "One Less Lonely Girl" titled "One Less Lonely Boy," she was discovered
by Wax Records co-founder Jamie Appleby, who quickly added her to the label's
roster. Drawing inspiration from Heart's 1987 hit "Alone," her debut single
"Alone Again" appeared in 2010 and entered the Canadian Hot 100 at Number 79,
