English-born Andrea Lindsay was born in 1976 in the Canadian city of Guelph, in
the province of Ontario. A singer-songwriter, she fell in love with the French
language during a stay in France at the age of 18. French and music are her two
passions, and in 2006 she released her first solo album, La Belle Étoile. In
2009, she released her second album Les Sentinelles Dorment. During this period,
she performed across Canada and Europe, and sang for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth
