Babx was born David Babin on September 22, 1981 in Paris. His creativity comes
from the cinema, his musical demands from the instruction of a pianist and
musicologist mother, but it was listening to Léo Ferré around the age of 20 that
finally gave him the courage to write, compose and perform solo. He knows how to
speak of love and sensuality with retro elegance, but his charming bonhomie
should not make us forget his revolt. With his colourful, alliteration-filled
language, Babx rages against the ills of society through dark subjects that
touch on the intimate and the universal....
