Biffty
Biffty is a French rapper from Seine Saint-Denis. His first productions,
mixtapes distributed mainly on the Internet, were supported by the compositions
of beatmaker DJ Weedim. Close to Vald, in 2016 Biffty embodied a new generation
of rappers wielding irony, gravelly provocation and surrealist humor, in a
spirit close to the early albums of the Beastie Boys or, in France, Svinkels.
That same year, his debut album Mega Souye Tape broke into the French
best-seller charts.
