Born Sarah Grace McLaughlin in London, England on July 18, 1992, Bishop Briggs
took her professional name from a place in Scotland from where her family hails.
She began her musical journey at the age of four when she was taken by her
parents to Tokyo, Japan where she sang karaoke and started to write songs as a
child and learned to play the piano. The family moved to Hong Kong when she was
10 where she attended the Hong Kong International School. Moving to Los Angeles,
