Chicane
From an early age, Nick Bracegirdle (aka Chicane) was recording dance music
demos to send to record labels. With little success in attracting a recording
deal Bracegirdle launched Modena Records and with Leo Elstob under the guise of
Disco Citizens released the single Right Here Right Now in 1995. A year later he
released his first single under the Chicane banner, Offshore, hitting Number 12
on the UK singles chart. The single also became an Ibiza hit, proving a popular
choice for DJs and included in the many Ibiza-inspired compilation albums
