Christina Milian
The American R&B singer Christina Milian was born Christine Flores in New Jersey
City in 1981. She is of Cuban origin and was raised in Maryland where,
throughout her teenage years, she harboured ambitions to become a professional
singer. At the age of 19 her dreams were realised when she signed to the Def Jam
label and released her self-titled debut album. The album spawned stand-out
tracks 'When You Look at Me' and 'AM to PM' both of which were top three hits in
the UK and charted well in the States.
