Hudson Mohawke
Hudson Mohawke is the stage name of Ross Matthew Birchard, a Scottish DJ and
electronic music producer who helped shape the genre's growth during the 2010s.
He was born in Glasgow on February 11, 1986, and raised by the popular American
actor Paul Birchard. After participating in DJ competitions as a teenager, he
formed the record label in LuckyMe in 2007 and began releasing a string of EPs,
including 2007's Puzzles. His debut album, Butter, was released two years later
by Warp Records and helped popularize the so-called "wonky" genre, which paired
unstable beats with genre-bendi...
