During her childhood in Avignon, Julie Fuchs (born in Meaux on July 24, 1984) hesitated between the violin and singing. In the end, she chose the latter at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris, before embarking on an international career. Revealed at the Aix-en-Provence Festival in the title role of Lully'sAcis et Galatée, the soprano singer was crowned a few months later with the "Révélation lyrique" trophy at the 2012 Victoires de la musique classique awards.
