Julienne Taylor is a Scottish singer-songwriter with a distinctively lilting
voice who performed with local bands in Edinburgh before moving to London at the
age of 17 to pursue a career in music. She worked at Shepperton Film Studios
learning to be a sound engineer and sang in clubs and other venues at night. She
made a successful debut at the Edinburgh Festival in 2000 as a result of which
Virgin Atlantic signed her to a recording contract.
Her debut on the album 'Racing the Clouds Home' featured guest artists including
Gordon Campbell, Richie Harrison, Rab Howat, Finlay Mac...
