La Sonora Carruseles
Formed in 1995, La Sonora Carruseles is a salsa and boogaloo band from Medellin,
Colombia. Originally formed by Colombian label Discos Fuentes, the band members
were handpicked by engineer and musical director Mario Rincón Parra. The band
members came together, and, after a single rehearsal, they were signed to the
label and released their debut album, Espectacular, in 1995. Since the release
of the debut album, La Sonora Carruseles has released close to 20 studio albums
and compilations including Salsa y Fuego (1996), Heavy Salsa (1998), De Una Vez
Gozando (2002), Salsa Pa Bacan...
