Luidji grew up listening to rap music from across the Atlantic, including
Eminem, 50 Cent and Snoop Dogg, before moving to the southwest of Paris from La
Courneuve. He wrote his first lyrics as a teenager, at the age of 15, and
published his first tracks on a blog, already receiving a great deal of
encouragement. His first mixtape, Freshness , was released in 2009. Luidji
stepped up a gear by joining the La Capsule collective. In 2012, he spent seven
