Maite Perroni
Maite Perroni is an actress and singer, known as both a member of the Latin pop
group RBD and, more recently, as a solo artist in her own right.
Maite was born in Mexico City but lived in Guadalajara until she was 12, when
she moved back to the capital. She began performing at an early age, appearing
in a number of TV commercials and music videos.
Her showbiz break came when, aged 20, she won the lead role of Guadalupe
Fernández, aka Lupita, in the successful Argentine teen telenovela, 'Rebelde'.
