Hailing from Mazatlán, a town in northwestern Mexico, Mi Banda El Mexicano was
originally formed in the mid-1970s as a rock band, but gradually developed into
a technobanda group during the 1980s, officially changing its original name,
Grupo El Mexicano, to Mi Banda El Mexicano in 1992. Although the group had
already released five albums since 1988, that year they released one of their
