Born as "Christine Kim" in Seoul, South Korea, on September 6, 1988, Kim Yoon-ji
is a Korean-American entertainer whose bubbly brand of K-pop found a home on the
Gaon charts during the 2010s. She moved to the San Fernando Valley of Los
Angeles as a grade schooler and eventually enrolled at UCLA to study music,
although she left school before graduation and returned to South Korea to launch
