Omari Ishmael Grandberry, whose stage name is Omarion, is an American R&B singer
whose style incorporates hip-hop, pop, and R&B. Born on November 12, 1984, in
the Los Angeles suburb of Inglewood, he acted in television commercials as a
child and continued as a screen actor as his musical career took off when he
joined the boy band B2K in 1999. The band had considerable success but broke up
in 2004. Omarion starred in Christopher B. Stokes' 2004 feature film You Got
Served and appeared on American TV in series such as Cuts (2005), Ugly Betty
(2008), and Let's Stay Together (2012)....
