The Cologne dialect and carnival band Paveier was founded in 1983 and was formed
from the members of the former country band Colonia Rangers Hans-Ludwig Brühl
(guitar, vocals), Micky Brühl (frontman), Klaus Lückerath (vocals, guitar), Bodo
Scholz (bass guitar) and Detlef Vorholt (keyboard). Their first two songs "Am
Ruusemondach" and "Ich nemm d'r Dom met" were written and composed by Hans
Knipp. The Paveier quickly established themselves as a traditional Cologne
