Founded in 1999 by Puerto Rican cousins Orlando “Chencho” Vega and Edwin “Maldy”
Vega, reggaeton duo Plan B recorded their early material under the name The
Panic before renaming themselves after one of their first hits. Emerging at the
turn of the millennium via a slew of crude collaborations with prominent record
producer DJ Blass, the Guayama-based MC-producers experienced a breakthrough in
2002, with their debut album, El Mundo Del Plan B, featuring a star-studded list
