Ryan Leslie
A Harvard graduate at the age of 19, Ryan Leslie is one of a kind in today's
popular music scene. The son of Salvation Army permanents, he studied economics
before entering the world of music. His career began as a songwriter and
producer for Britney Spears, Tha Dogg Pound, M. Pokora and, above all, Cassie.
He released Just Right in 2005, but the album proved to be an almost total
commercial failure. Ryan Leslie, released in February 2009, doesn't look any
better after the disappointing charts of the first singles taken from it.
