Sofia Daccarett Char, aka Sofia Carson, is a dance-pop singer and actress known
for her role as Evie in the Disney Channel's 'Descendants' TV movie franchise.
Carson was born in 1993 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. By the age of three she was
taking dance lessons and at eight she starred in a stage production of 'Wizard
of Oz' as Dorothy. A year later she studied performing arts in a summer program
put on by the University of Miami, continuing to train her voice and learn dance
through high school.
