Takanori Nishikawa (born in Yasu, Japan), is a Japanese singer, songwriter and voice artist. After dropping out of high school to pursue a career in music, Nishikawa joined rock band Luis-Mary in 1990, rebranding himself in 1995 as T.M.Revolution (Takanori Makes Revolution, or TMR), releasing his debut with “Dokusai (Monopolize)” in May, 1996, followed by album Makes Revolution later in the year and November single "Heart of Sword (Yoake Mae)" which was used as the ending track for Rurouni Kenshin (anime series).
