The Whip
The Whip (le fouet in French) lives up to its name: glittering melodies over
slamming rhythms. Hailing from the Manchester rock scene, the band has added the
electronic urgency of Daft Punk, disco sensuality and a touch of dance-rock to
its music. Backed by French label Kitsuné, the Mancunians released their debut
album, X Marks Destination, in 2008, to rave reviews from the press and public
alike.
