Raised in the South Jamaica neighborhood of Queens, New York, Diana Gordon wrote
her first song at 15 years old, laying the brickwork for a career that would
later include multi-platinum collaborations as a behind-the-scenes songwriter as
well as multiple releases an an acclaimed R&B solo artist. Adopting the stage
name "Wynter Gordon," she began working with producer D'Mile in 2004. Her song
"Gonna Breakthrough" was recorded the following year by Mary J. Blige, who
