Inspired by Georges Brassens and author of the timeless "Prendre un enfant" (1977), Yves Duteil is an old-fashioned singer, born in Neuilly-sur-Seine on July 24, 1949. Since 1977 and La Tarentelle, he has been the defender of a French tradition that makes no concessions to fashion, as demonstrated by the success of "La Langue de chez nous" (1986), moving a very wide audience.
